Laguna Board of REALTORS® Leverages Housing Opportunity Grant
to Advance Housing Access in Laguna Beach
Laguna Beach, June 13, 2026 – The Laguna Board of REALTORS® received a $7,500 Housing Opportunity Grant to support The Laguna Housing Faire in Laguna Beach, advancing efforts to improve access to housing and address affordability challenges across the region. The grant award is made possible by the National Association of REALTORS® as part of its Community Development Advocacy program, which empowers REALTOR® Associations to strengthen their communities through effective advocacy, partnerships, and on-the-ground initiatives.
Through this initiative, The Laguna Board of REALTORS® in business for over 100 years supported Laguna Beach at the Laguna Housing Faire working alongside housing partners, local leaders, and city departments. In addition to funding, local REALTORS® supported the initiative by providing Real Estate related educational materials. Other partners included Laguna Beach Police Dept., Laguna Beach Fire Dept., Code Enforcement, Planning Dept., LB Unified School District, Golden West Home Watch, Lock Tech, Coastal Inspection Services, Nexa Lending, Oligino Laux Construction and Elnoli Construction contributed with expertise, outreach, education, data, and fun give a way items. Delicious Board and Brew Sandwiches, refreshing Ms. Debbie’s Ice Cream and fun Home Depot crafts were among the highlights for the crowd.

Access to homeownership is a cornerstone of economic stability and the strength of communities. Efforts like this focus on removing barriers, improving housing systems and supporting policies that help individuals and families find and sustain a place to call home. By awarding this grant, Laguna Board of REALTORS® is investing in solutions that strengthen housing pathways and support a healthier, more inclusive housing market.
