Laguna’s 22nd Annual “A Taste for Charity” & Silent Art Auction attracted over 500 guests to experience good food, art, wine, and music at Tivoli Too!, grossed over $100,000 for local charities.
All had an opportunity to view and bid on over 80 pieces of art beautifully displayed by volunteers that were generously donated by local artists as well as baskets of goodies donated by merchants of Laguna Beach. Zack Krone of California Coast Auctions conducted a Live Auction highlighting exceptional live auction items such as: An escape to The Villas Resort at Pelican Hill, a trip to Cabo San Lucas and accommodations, tickets and airfare to Augusta’s Master’s Golf Tournament and a beautiful art piece painted by Debra Passwaters during the event.
During the course of the evening, the CSP Youth Shelter spoke of the need of funding to continue their services to the community; hence the “Fund-A-Need” portion of the evening was a grand success with thousands of dollars contributed.

Needless to say, this event could not have achieved such success without the generous donation of time that was given by all our many REALTOR® and Affiliate volunteers. Under the direction of this year’s Event Chair, Donna Jatho of Villa Real Estate, the committee started meeting in early January and have spent countless hours working on this event which has enhanced our contributions to the following charities: CSP Youth Shelter, First Thursday’s Art Walk, Laguna Beach Plein Air Painters Association, Laguna Beach High School Scholarship Fund, Laguna Board of REATORS® Charitable Assistance Fund, No Square Theater, The Food Pantry, Laguna Outreach Community Arts, and Seaside Legal Services.
