What is the Code of Ethics?
NAR's Code of Ethics, adopted in 1913, was one of the first codifications of ethical duties adopted by any business group. The Code ensures that consumers are served by requiring REALTORS® to cooperate with each other in furthering clients' best interests.
What is the New Code of Ethics Requirement?
REALTORS® are required to complete NAR Code of Ethics training every three (3) years. The current Cycle 7 deadline is December 31, 2024.
Who needs to take it?
All active REALTORS® need to complete their Code of Ethics requirement every three (3) years with the exception of NAR Emeritus Members.

How can I check to see if I have completed the Code of Ethics training and fulfilling this requirement?
Log into www.nar.realtor.
If you have taken your COE and it does not show in NRDS what do I do?
Email the Certificate of Completion to Info@lbrealtors.com for verification and processing.
