What is the Code of Ethics?
NAR's Code of Ethics, adopted in 1913, was one of the first codifications of ethical duties adopted by any business group. The Code ensures that consumers are served by requiring REALTORS® to cooperate with each other in furthering clients' best interests.
What is the New Code of Ethics Requirement?
REALTORS® are required to complete NAR Code of Ethics training every three (3) years. The current Cycle 6 deadline is extended from December 31, 2020 to December 31, 2021.
Who needs to take it?
All active REALTORS® need to complete their Code of Ethics requirement every three (3) years with the exception of NAR Emeritus Members.
How can I take it?
How can I check to see if I have completed the Code of Ethics training and fulfilling this requirement?
Log into www.nar.realtor. Click on my account, click on manage account. Under links click on view your Education Records . If you see the following courses then you have fulfilled your requirement. You can also call the board office for verification.

Course Numbers - Continuing Members BPP COEC 2017C5 or BPP COEC 2018C5
If you have taken your COE and it does not show in NRDS what do I do?
Email the Certificate of Completion to Info@lbrealtors.com for verification and processing.
