Affiliate Committee - Coordinates involvement of affiliate members in board sponsored activities. Hosts weekly marketing sessions, general membership meetings, participates in new member orientation, recruits new affiliate members, coordinates Annual Holiday Breakfast, coordinates fundraising/charity events. All affiliate members are automatically members of this committee.

BORPAC/IMPAC - Selected from those Realtor members who have contributed to political survival. Decides on funding and endorsement of political candidates (BORPAC) and issues (IMPAC) after thorough research and evaluation.

Education Committee - Plans local educational offerings. Works with Laguna Board staff, Affiliate Committee members as well as State and Region Associations to bring classes and seminars to the area.

Government Affairs Committee - Monitors governmental affairs at all levels related to real estate and private property rights. Recommends positions on issues to the Board of Directors as well as recommends funding of issues and campaigns through IMPAC funds.

Community Outreach Committee - Coordinates activities to keep members and our community informed about real estate, Laguna Board, and CAR/NAR matters. Promotes and communicates the involvement of Realtors in the community through appropriate programs and technology to the public and the membership. Assists Board office to keep Website, Facebook and other social media sites updated and relevant.

Multiple Listing Services Committee - One or two Committee members attend the monthly MLS meeting in Chino Hills. Committee monitors MLS operations, makes recommendations for improvements, and reviews MLS Rules and Regulations for compliance. Provides leadership to the Association on new training or rules information. Communicates with brokerages to get input and finds out about concerns which then can be presented and discussed at the monthly MLS meeting in San Dimas.

Grievance Committee - Reviews Complaints by LBOR members, nonmembers and members of the public to determine whether a complaint warrants a hearing. Presents findings to the Professional Standards Panel for adjudication and possible disciplinary action. Comprised of REALTOR® with sufficient background to make informed and objective determinations.

Professional Standards - Panel empowered to hear complaints alleging violations of the Code of Ethics. Hears and determines violations, imposes discipline subject to approval by the Board of Directors. Conducts Arbitration Hearings and determines awards of funds in dispute. Requires a minimum of three years’ experience on Grievance Committee and yearly attendance at State Association sponsored training session as well as other ongoing training sessions such as Mock trials.
